CHI (Dalian) named and delivered the 20th 62,000 dwt multi-purpose pulp vessel
On April 18, the 62,000 dwt series multipurpose pulp vessel "COSCO Shipping Tengda", built for COSCO Shipping Development, was named and delivered. The vessel is the 20th 62,000 dwt pulp vessel built by CHI (Dalian) since it entered the multipurpose pulp vessel market in 2017, and it is also the finale of this series of vessels. "COSCO Shipping Tengda" and its 19 sister vessels in the previous series are all operated by COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers.
The vessel has an L*B*D size of 201.8m*32.26m*19.3m, with a range of 22,000 nautical miles and a cargo tank capacity of 72,000 cubic meters. The cargo hold is equipped with a dehumidification system to ensure the quality of the pulp cargo during transportation. The deck lifting equipment is equipped with two 100-ton single cranes and one set of 75-ton double cranes, which improves the ship's loading and unloading capacity and efficiency. Both engines are equipped with SCR system to meet NOxTIERIII emission requirements.
